EveryWoman Health is a private menopause clinic based in Newmarket, Suffolk. We are listed on the British Menopause Society register (EveryWoman Health – British Menopause Society), meaning our specialist doctor holds advanced menopause qualifications and remains up-to-date with gold standard care.
Consultations are available in person at our CQC-registered location in Newmarket, Suffolk, as well as via secure video or telephone for patients across England. We provide specialist menopause care, women’s health consultations (including PMS and PMDD), and comprehensive breast health assessments. With direct access to a full range of diagnostic investigations, we can also arrange seamless onward referrals to other specialties when required.

Dr Quartey-Irwin is a kind, approachable and compassionate GP with specialist expertise in women’s health and menopause care. She holds accreditation from both the British Menopause Society and the College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.
She has a long-standing passion for women’s health and is deeply committed to improving the quality of care and access to women’s health services within the community.
Dr Quartey-Irwin graduated from King’s College London, where she obtained her medical degree (MBBS) alongside a BSc (Hons) in Medical Ethics and Law. She completed her junior doctor training at Hinchingbrooke (Huntingdon) and Papworth Hospitals, followed by GP specialty training in Cambridge.
She subsequently undertook a Post-CCT Fellowship in Community Gynaecology at Cambridge University Hospitals, where she was mentored by leading Consultant Gynaecologist Mr Gerald Hackett. During this fellowship, she developed advanced knowledge, skills and clinical expertise in community gynaecology and menopause management.
As part of her higher education, Dr Quartey-Irwin conducted a service evaluation study titled “Improving Women’s Experiences of Menopause Management in Primary Care (England)”. The study had an excellent response, with 812 participants completing an anonymous online survey.
The study highlighted that many women in England continue to experience suboptimal menopause management in primary care. The invaluable insights shared by women not only informed proposed solutions published from the research, but also directly inspired the creation of EveryWoman Health.
Dr Quartey-Irwin holds the BMS/FSRH Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care, as well as the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG) and the Diploma of the College of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH). She is a highly experienced contraceptive implant and coil fitter, and for almost six years provided specialist services to an NHS Primary Care Network (PCN), helping to significantly improve patient access to contraception and reduce waiting times.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr Quartey-Irwin enjoys family life with her husband and two young children, who keep her very busy (especially her son, who plays for a prestigious football academy). She also has a love for travel and enjoys learning about different cultures, traditions and customs around the world.
